1. For persons who fulfil at the requirements for the A3 List and who have been assessed in accordance             with Kennel Club requirements and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 List and have the support  of the S.E.L.A.S.
2.To have awarded CC’s in at least one other breed.

Requirements Include:-

1.   Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the S.E.L.A.S.

2.   To have judged a Breed Club Open Show.

3.   To have judged a minimum of 30 Classes of the Breed at Open Shows, or Championship Shows without CC’s with an adequate geographical spread

4.   To have judged a minimum of 150 Dogs (not Entries) in addition to those judged at a Breed Club Open Show

5.   To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer, and passed the relevant examination on the Kennel Club regulations and Judging Procedures

6.   To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Confirmation and Movement.

7.   To have attended a Confirmation and Movement  “hands-on” Assessment conducted by a Kennel club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.(Mandatory requirement from 1st July 2005 for those wishing to award Challenge Certificates for the very first time)

8.   To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable

9.   To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their 1^st entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (Save in exceptional circumstances).

10. To have stewarded at 12 Shows.

11. They will be expected to have shown a real interest in the Breed in the past, either through the breeding and/or showing of the Lhasa Apsos or by their attendance at Breed Seminars and other breed events

BREED SPECIALISTS

Requirements include:

1.   Minimum of seven years Judging experience in the Breed and have the support of the S.E.L.A.S.

2.   To have judged at one Breed Club Open Show.

3.   To have judged a minimum of 30 Classes of the Breed at Open Shows or Championship Shows without CC's, with an adequate geographical spread.

4.   To have judged a minimum of 150 Dogs (not entries) in addition to those judged at a Breed Club Open Show.

5.   To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.

6.   To have attended a Confirmation and Movement  “hands-on” Assessment conducted by a Kennel club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.(Mandatory requirement from 1st January 2007)

7.   To have Bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs of any Breed when they obtained their 1st entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book.( Save in exceptional circumstances.)

8.   To have awarded CC's in at least one other breed.

9.   They will be expected to have shown a real interest in the Breed in the past through their attendance at Breed Seminars and other Breed events.

2.   To have Judged a minimum of 12 Classes of this Breed at Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs.

3.   To have shown a real interest in the Breed in the past, either through the Breeding and or Showing of Lhasa Apsos or by their attendance at Breed Seminars and other Breed events.

4.   Applicants should note that even if the above criteria are met, this does not guarantee automatic inclusion in the Society’s Judging Lists. These lists are prepared by secret ballot of the Judges Sub-committee and are valid for one year from January 1st to December 31st.

Rule 17g All Judges residing on the B List need to update their CV’s within a three year period or they may be removed from the Society’s Judging List.

The Criteria to judge a Breed Club Open Show

To have judged a minimum of 24 Breed Classes and a minimum of 100 dogs over at least a three year period and with an adequate geographical spread.

* Indicates those qualified to Judge a Breed Club Open Show

1.   To have Judged a minimum of 25 dogs of this Breed and have the support of the S.E.L.A.S.

2.   To have Judged a minimum of 12 Classes of this Breed at Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs.

3.   To have shown a real interest in the Breed in the past, their attendance at Breed Seminars and other Breed events.

4.   Applicants should note that even if the above criteria are met, this does not guarantee automatic inclusion in the Society’s Judging Lists. These lists are prepared by secret ballot of the Judges Sub-committee and are valid for one year from January 1st to December 31st.
